Hello and Happy New Year to all of you!
Our Big Fat wish for you all is that 2021 is a happy, healthy and prosperous year. Let’s all do our part to ensure that we stay safe over the next year so that we can have everyone seated around the Christmas table again. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
We have enjoyed our much-needed time off over the festive break but have also taken some time to do some baking and prepping for what is going to be an amazing year! So without further ado, please welcome our new products to the Big Fat Brownies family.
Calling all Vegans, we’ve now got you covered! Thanks to our first corporate order just before Christmas, we had to bake and send 40 boxes of brownies to the entire staff compliment of a film studio (‘cos, well, no Christmas parties were allowed). That’s a whopping 246 brownies which we smashed out in a weekend (*pats self on the back). Four of the recipients were Vegan, so it forced us to speed up the product testing phase for the perfect Big Fat Vegan Brownie, something we had ear-marked to start doing this year. But I am so thrilled to say that we succeeded, not only in fulfilling that order, but also in developing a darn delicious Vegan offering. Full of Vegan choc-chip goodness, they are now available to order here.
To all the Gluten intolerant peeps, you have not been overlooked either. We are equally excited to be able to now offer all of you with a gluten intolerance a Big Fat Gluten Free box of brownies! These are still as rich and fudgy as our regular brownies and are made with entirely gluten free ingredients. You can order these as a box of plain brownies, or you can order them as loaded brownies – Salted Caramel, Triple Chocolate and Kid in a Candy Store are all free from Gluten.
PSA: Although our brownies are made with care using Gluten Free products, they are produced in an environment where Gluten is present and are NOT suitable for those who suffer with Coeliac disease.
If you believe that blondes really do have more fun, you’ll love that you can now order your Brownies as Blondies instead! That’s right, our Blondies can be enjoyed plain or you can choose to load them with one of our delicious topping choices. Head on over to our Blondies page to have a look.
Finally, we are launching our “Just One Brownie” campaign this year. If you are not able to eat an entire box of brownies on your own, if you live alone, if you’re allowed a cheat day once a week or if you simply want to send someone you care about something sweet to let them know you’re thinking about them, then this is for you! You can definitely say we are starting the year off with a bang, and so we should be! If 2020 taught us anything, it’s to seize the opportunities that present themselves and to make the most out of each and every day. We are looking forward to getting back into the kitchen and baking up a storm for all of you lovely peeps. Keep an eye out for updates on which markets we will be trading at again this year too - as soon as we’re allowed to of course.
